Anglian fleet queries
« on: June 29, 2011, 08:04:10 PM »
Hi there,

If anyone could help answer a few questions about Anglian, that would be great :)

1.  Is there a depot in Norwich still, if so, what tends to be allocated there ?

2.  Have any of the R-EMB Scania's been disposed of yet ?

3   Is 429   ( Enviro 300) still in the fleet - last time I saw it, in Norwich it was in a white livery.

4   Is Optare Solo 332 MX 07JNV still in the fleet ?

Sorry for all the questions, but all info will be much appreciated,

Cheers

Chris B

Hi Chris,

Rackheath (Norwich) is still there; if you look at the fleetlist they now list what is where. Most of the R-EMBs are allocated to Rackheath; 429 was there also but may have gone back

Thanks for that Sam

Things are now a lot clearer !    I think there are still 3 Scania Omnilink's to come aren't there ?   I had an idea these would replace those R--EMB registered Scania's.   Amazing how, from a non Norfolk based point of view, how tricky it is to get shots of certain buses from this fleet - it took me about 2 years to get one of Optare Excel 400,  then a few months ago I finally got a great pic of it in Norwich :):)

The R-EMBs are still with Anglian for the time being. I saw R81EMB heading towards Acle from Norwich on the A47 this afternoon.

So did I.  :) Infact, I saw a few more in Norwich.  :D
