Tourmaster of Crowland

Having never managed to catch this in action, finally paid a visit to their yard and photographed
it there. Looks rather smart I thought.

A post on Andy's bus blog shows a picture of a new VH Alicron YJ15ETT, which I did not realize that they had. It was one of the many coaches at Wembly for the Norwich city game.

Your link appears to point to the same picture as your UNO E20D posting.

I have not seen the new vehicle yet and I live in Peterborough where Tourmaster operate
quite a few contracts. I will have to keep my eyes open.

Tourmaster are now operating Jonckheere bodied Scania K double decker YXI9255 ex Embling's, Guyhirn and previously Young's, Haddenham. It is painted in a Black based all-over-ad for Peterborough Regional College. There is also a Trident running around in this livery, but I have been unable to identify either the vehicle or owner.

Note for Admin ; Should this company now be moved to Lincolnshire Board?

Someone mentioned to me that Deckerbus had a DD in the same livery. However, I have not seen it and therefore cannot confirm. I thought Deckerbus had got rid of their Tridents in favour of Volvos and DAFs.

Managed to get a better look at the second vehicle today. It is one of Alec Head's Palatine II's, not a Trident, with a YIL 69xx registration, but I had forgotten the rest of it by the time I was able to write it down.

Tourmaster have a new 16 plate VH double decker delivered this week. Have not seen it yet, but I understand it has been purchased rather than rented.

Correct :) A striking and distinctive coach it most certainly is too, both inside and out. Drives and rides beautifully :D

For those with an interest in such detail, the coach is registered YJ16EKT.

Tourmaster appear to have another double decker in the form of a Scania N113DRB originally Brighton 774 reg is P874VFG.

It is still in the livery of Country Bus of Heathfield, Devon, who I have as the last recorded operator.

Another new vehicle for this operator is YX67UOM. I saw it for the first
time today and according to UKGOV website was first registered this month.

Poor light and a bit dirty, but nevertheless here it is
