15 Years On...
« on: December 03, 2014, 10:23:48 AM »
... It was autumn 1999 when I moved south for the first time, and I started the dundee-bus newsgroup to keep up with local news. This was around the time I'd taken over the Anorak's London Bus Page, and replaced a old bb with a news group called london-bus. Both are still going strong, with the latter under local management. Dundee-Bus then swelled to become the Forum and encompass the Dundee Bus Bulletin started in 1997. The best ideas are sometimes the simplest, which develop and bloom.

And the Anglia Bus Forum (as was) started when?

And I think I remember a predecessor: Allan's Bus Page ?

I love these bits of living history. Perhaps it's my age!  ;D

No! it still looks as if no one else is being allowed to add to this topic.

I would just like to add long before the ABF and Alan whatever his name was. There used to be the Busman in Cambridge website with all the local news and that was started back in at least 1995.
Just to put the record straight.

Busman
