Not sure if Peterborough has a shortage of certain types of bus as in 20 mins at Peterborough bus station saw

Citi 2/3   18420/ 18421 plus an unidentified MAN as I travelled on 18420 to Bretton

Citi 5   22336 and 10878

Both routes are normally Darts or E200's

Road works on Bourges Boulevard and Thorpe Road are causing havoc with the timetables. I wonder if some of these have been input to fill gaps in service.

Was at Queensgate today and a trio of 3 Bretton buses came in at the same time. They were 22337, 22329 and 22336.

Very unusual having 3 old bangers on 1 route.

Also 34880 was serving the 21 but this may have been a replacement.

Called in at Queensgate today and noted MAN 22334 on a 37 and 22336 also parked up - which was nice!

I see they're not really bothering with branding much these days. There was a time when all buses proudly displayed the right branding for where they operated from. I suppose if they don't stick anything on there it can never be wrong!

10010 has also received a paint job and is running without branding.

34882 is also back in Peterborough after a lengthy loan spell at Bedford.

Also at 22:15 :-

10870 was running the citi 4 route towards Parnwell this evening
10874 was running the citi 3 route towards Bretton Centre this evening.
37219 was running the citi 1 route towards Orton this evening

It appears that former Peterborough bus 19695 is currently back in Peterborough, with it being used exclusively on the 36/37 Services.

Also 18420 and 18422 are currently out on loan at Long Sutton.

Also roaming the streets of Peterborough is another of our old buses. I saw 19693 running the Citi 1 Route today.

Seems chaos with moving all these buses around, with all the buses that are dumped in Kings Lynn I believe all in the reserve fleet and buses being changed every couple of days between Peterborough and Long Sutton

Is there not anybody in charge of the Peterborough / Long Sutton operations

As Long Sutton is now an outstation of Peterborough, then vehicles will be changed every couple of days to allow maintenance to be carried out. As far as I am aware there will be no 'allocation' to Long Sutton, just a selection of vehicles allocated to Peterborough. This has already been proven by the number of Go-West Travel vehicles seen on Peterborough services.

Long Sutton does have its own allocation as vehicles there are registered to Now West Travel and operate on the Go West Travel operators licence. Because Peterborough do the maintenance then interworking does take place but where this happens vehicles should display 'On hire to' notices.

Have not seen the Solo today, although I could have been in the wrong place
at the wrong time.

However, "oldies"  22329, 34530 and 34533 are all about on service today.

19695 and 19696 have both been around in the last couple of days both
displaying Go-West discs, but no "on hire stickers"

The ex Norfolk Green 1005x E400s have a different destination system from the standard Stagecoach one and I believe these four vehicles only have the former King's Lynn destinations on them - there should be a standard Stagecoach display but it would be a case of hunting for it.

34530 on citi 2/3, seen at Bretton Centre. Driver had turned engine off and when he tried to restart all he got was reversing light and buzzer and no engine starting. Whoops
