I have often thought I would like to visit this exhibition but have always shied away from applying per chance it is an industry only event.

As a recipient of the weekly on line 'RouteOne' trade magazine I am regularly targeted with emails about Euro Bus Expo but I just read then delete them.

Is the event actually open to all?

You are correct to a point it is an industry event however I have just registered by using initiative and had a eticket emailed to me

They just ask you your company name and address and if you are self employed and live at home that's what you enter :)

The next page asks you if your a buyer, got any authorisation to buy, press, or to Network etc

I have been to NEC a couple of times.  I worked for National Express on a casual basis so I put that down.  It was never my full time job. To be honest, I don't think there is any form of check.  If you still work for a company in the industry, you can certainly put that down even if you only work for them occasionally.  I have taken photographs at the event and it not caused any problems. Some of the speakers are interesting too.  Your ticket allows you to go on any day so you can choose the day to suit the speakers (not sure if it allows multiple visits but I think so).

I have booked my ticket for the next event so I expect to be going.
