National Express happenings 2018
« on: February 14, 2018, 03:01:38 PM »
I think I am a little behind the times here, as I did not realise that Ambassador no longer operate
the 371 service from Great Yarmouth to Birmingham.

This service has been replaced by service 375 Great Yarmouth to Bangor operated by Llew Jones of Llanrwst.

Today's coach going west was LJ67LLJ a Scania/Caetano. I have not yet looked up the timetable, but it
seems it no longer has a refreshment stop in Peterborough.

Apparently this is a 15 hour journey so the driver was telling me.

There are two vehicles allocated to this route, LJ66LLJ and LJ67LLJ. Here is a photo of LJ66LLJ operating service 375 along Thorpe Road

The 010/498 timetable is being revised again with one 010 journey in each direction starting from Peterborough and calling at Huntingdon before Cambridge.  The 498 has been cut back from Diss to Bury St Edmunds.  I assume Whippet will be the contractor on the Peterborough journey.  Thank you to Suzy and TfL for providing access to the timetable - it is linked to the LSP bulletin.
