Stagecoach Skegness open toppers
« on: April 12, 2018, 08:43:11 PM »
My nephew was on a business trip in Skegness this week (he works for the RNLI) and photographed three newly bedecked Stagecoach open toppers for the forthcoming holiday season.

His photographs show three Alexander ALX400 bodied Dennis Tridents. 17016 (S816 BWC), 17013 (S813 BWC) and 17015 (S815 BWC) which were new to Stagecoach East London in January 1999 with fleet numbers TA16, TA13 and TA15.

They aren't newly bedecked - they've been open top for almost a decade.  They've come from Cumbria.

By ‘bedecked’, David means ‘highly decorated’, Graeme.
TCD813? The reg of a Southdown Motor Services, Northern Counties bodied, Leyland Titan PD3/4 FH39/30F (popularly dubbed 'Queen Mary') from the late 50s.
There's all 'manor' of stuff on my Twitter A/c.
