Happenings in the Ensignbus fleet are:
Two more ex Dublin Bus Volvo Olympians have joined operational stock; these being P563/8 SWC, fleet numbers 163/8; originally 97 D 341, 340 respectively. Temporary ex Dublin Volvo Olympians P978/83 KAR have been sold to Chambers of Bures, and TM Travel of Chesterfield, respectively.
Metroliners 404 (304 CLT) and 464 (864 DYE) are now withdrawn, and 404 has reverted to its original
E99 VAK registration, and passed to Red Route Buses of Northfleet.
Ensign has been involved in a major Docklands Light Railway replacement over the last week in May.
Five routes were run between Blackwall and Prince Regent/London City Airport.
Picture enclosed of both Metroliners at Newbury Park in April 2009.

John Podgorski.

Is it me or do these vehicles look very ahead of their time?
